Linux公社為大家學習Fedora知識提供一些幫助,安裝好Fedora 8之后，發覺Fedora8自帶的顯卡驅動很一般，對我的Geforce 6200顯卡支持感覺不是很好，即使沒有啟用3D效果也會導致電腦運行變慢。因此就有下文(我安裝nvidia驅動的一點見解):

首先,去http://www.nvidia.cn/下載驅動程序,我下的是NVIDIA-Linux-x86-100.14.19-pkg1.run
確保系統有沒有安裝kernel-devel,用yum檢查: sudo yum info kernel-devel
如果沒有安裝,可以用yum安裝:

sudo yum install kernel-devel
在root權限下修改/etc/inittab中的runlevel為3(2,1都行)
重啟電腦,用root登錄,輸入如下命令: cd /usr/lib/xorg/
ln -s ../xorg/ lib
sh ~/Download/NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631-pkg1.run --x-prefix=/usr/lib/xorg
安裝完后需要重啟,然后修改/etc/X11/xorg.conf中的內容(記得備份): # nvidia-xconfig: X configuration file generated by nvidia-xconfig
# nvidia-xconfig:  version 1.0  (buildmeister@builder3)  Wed Sep 12 14:29:35 PDT 2007
