瀏覽器內置了很多元素的默認樣式，例如超鏈接的藍色帶下劃線的文字樣式。h1元素同樣具有默認樣式，例如外邊距，粗字體，大字號等樣式。糟糕的是，不同瀏覽器有不同的默認樣式。 為更好的控制元素樣式，Eric Meyer提供了一個樣式重置工具，來提高設計師的工作效率。這是一張名為reset.css的樣式表，其中的樣式規則如下。
